Advantages of the webcam:
Very affordable, actually it's one of the cheapest webcams found in the Indian market(Price: ₹850/$10.90). It's better than any laptop webcam I have ever seen. It also have a built in mic with analogue 3.5mm jack. It also has auto white balance.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Does not have auto focus....have to manually adjust it's focus by a dial around the camera unit. Auto white balance is a little on the dull side. Low light performance is not better than those of the integrated laptop webcams.
