Advantages of the webcam:
Decent for a price, comes with a privacy cover, a universal clip and a tripod. Extremely easy to set up.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Poor quality audio recording, lots of background noise.

Decent camera overall, audio recording could be better, but video recording does it's job well for an affordable 720p USB camera.
