Advantages of the webcam:
Built-in so I don't need to worry about carring a webcam. Fairly good. quality most times until recently.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
I've had a few issues in the last couple of the 5 years I've had it, perhaps due to overload from multiple programs of workplace. For example, it started flickering then blacking out when PowerPoint was added to online presentations. Then I could just get audio. I'm now noticing a blurring when I move. Maybe it's a setting but it wasn't doing that before. I upped the brightness because it was a little dark. Recently it was not as distinct but that has resolved.
