Advantages of the webcam:
Built-in so don't have to worry about carrying around and setting an external one. Fairly good quality.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Some difficulties in the last 2 of the 5 years I've had it. Overall blurring - now resolved , but now am getting blurring when I move on camera. Maybe it's just a setting. Had the screen flicker then black out a few times - possibly due to overload with work programs. It seemed to do this when a PowerPoint presentation was added to live online video courses. Maybe challenges are due to its age?
