Advantages of the webcam:
Sharp, nice colors, overall very good, though not that good as my cheap Wistream hdmi-to-usb3 capture card, that actualle managed 1080p from my canon 5d mkii.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Hoped for 1080p as the canon 5d mkii obviously can deliver it with the right equipment.

Testet Elgato hd60s+ (expensive capture card), Wistream hdmi-to-usb2 capture card (cheap), eos webcam Utility v.1.1. Best result is Wistream hdmi-to-usb3.
