Advantages of the webcam:
Very high definition picture. Smooth video. Captures low light images well (you still need a light for facial illumination if you want a clear video feed).

This webcam does everything I want and need. It has had no issues at all with either the desktops or laptops in terms of plug and play. No complaints at all. Love this web cam.
