Advantages of the webcam:
Was available during the pandemic, when I had no webcam but suddenly needed one. Integrated audio is pretty reliable. For $24 at the time, it was also very affordable.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Not the best video quality. Not as small as, say, some Logi models. USB cable could be a bit longer to accommodate the fact that my desktop is on the floor, not on the desk. (I did have to buy a USB extension cable at one point because I had monitor risers as well and that put the webcam cable just out of reach of the USB ports on my dekstop.)
