Advantages of the webcam:
Their advertising that got me to buy it.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Anything that's actually related to the camera. No matter what I run it on, zoom, meet, obs, facetime, etc. it is GRAINY and low rez. Total garbage this thing is, on a mac. Here' it says 640x480. That's my experience of it. Just total trash and too much money. AVOID this thing if you use a mac. Not sure about a PC but I'm sure it's not much better though maybe it will work at higher rez.
