Advantages of the webcam:
it has a good quality somehow (640x480 [4:3]) and a pretty standard framerate (30). built in microphone, you can choose any quality there, 8000hz minimum* 48khz maximum. nice bitrate too (6.86 MB/s)
Disadvantages of the webcam:
nothing, for now(?)

you can make funny mic (somehow) with it
