Advantages of the webcam:
Quality isn't bad, good enough for most basic video conferencing. At 720p and 30 FPS, the good thing about the camera is that there isn't any stuttering. Colour reproduction isn't wild, neutral to under-saturated.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
No mechanical privacy lock, not the best quality but for an old machine, acceptable.

LENOVO P50 Webcam: Works well and for an old machine is good.
