Advantages of the webcam:
Good picture, light indicators to let you know if active, easy to set up. No drivers needed unless your PC / Laptop drivers are out of date. Has microphone built in that I use for discord calls and work, no issues with feedback
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Only issue is the mic pics up speaker audio, so maybe use headphones to reduce echo
