Advantages of the webcam:
Cheap, does what it's advertised for, plug n play, aaaand that's pretty much it.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Horrible 720p resolution, low quailty (Only 0.92 MP), the webcam itself is so lightweight that it makes setting it up into a good position that it can see your face with it's horrible angles.

Just buy anything else if you can afford it.
