Review #151486 about “Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000”

Webcam: Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000
Rating: Good (4 out of 5)
Date:

Advantages of the webcam:
It works on Windows (even through a KVM switch)

Disadvantages of the webcam:
I didn't get it to work on Fedora Linux, and couldn't get my (pretty new) laptop to prefer it to its built-in camera.

Author’s comment:
This is a pretty old camera and has been knocked off the top of my monitor too many times to count, yet it still works. I don't think you can still buy it but the only Logitech product I ever got that stopped working was a keyboard that had apple juice spilled all over it.
