Advantages of the webcam:
I will use this to teach online so students can see how to write their mathematics (they have to do written exams on paper). The bendy goose-neck allows me to position the camera stand to one side of an A4 pad (landscape) and to write on the pad with a felt-tipped pen like a mini whiteboard.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
None so far it does what I wanted it to do. The ability to switch landscape/portrait mode would be useful. The camera already does left/right flip
