Webcam Test

Review #15365 about “Fujifilm XT-3”

Webcam: Fujifilm XT-3
Rating: Excellent (5 out of 5)
Date:

Advantages of the webcam:
Works with gphoto2 on Linux with my mirrorless camera! sudo modprobe v4l2loopback exclusive_caps=1 max_buffers=2 gphoto2 --stdout --capture-movie | ffmpeg -i - -vcodec rawvideo -pix_fmt yuv420p -threads 0 -f v4l2 /dev/video4

Disadvantages of the webcam:
I now get 1024x768 on Linux with gphoto2, but that was after using the "Fujifilm X Webcam" software on windows. That software must have changed the default preview resolution, since before gphoto2 on Linux only gave me 640x480 resolution before using the camera on Windows.
