Advantages of the webcam:
Extremely inexpensive.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Very narrow angle.

This camera has a very narrow angle lens on it,, and I'm starting to see the advantage of a wide angle lens because it simply makes the image brighter because it concentrates the light in pinpoint places,, it's just that the the images so small the objects in the image are so small. But yet it does not need nearly as much light.
