Advantages of the webcam:
The Logitech Brio webcam has many advantages, including: Security The Brio uses optical and infrared sensors for fast and secure facial recognition for Windows Hello. You can also log in to Windows 10 by looking into the lens without typing a password. Streaming The Brio can maintain a high frame rate (up to 90 fps) in any lighting conditions, which is ideal for high-quality recording, gaming broadcasts, and asynchronous presentation sharing. Privacy The Brio comes with a flippable lens shade that protects the lens and ensures privacy when the webcam isn't in use. Sustainability The Brio is carbon neutral and uses renewable energy whenever possible. The Brio 300 is also made with a minimum of 48% post-consumer recycled plastic, and the Brio 305's packaging comes from FSC-certified forests. Customization The Brio 505 has on-screen webcam and headset settings that allow you to customize your video meeting experience. Mounting The Brio has an adjustable clip that can be used to mount the webcam on a laptop, display, or tabletop. You can also remove the clip and use the integrated thread to attach it to a tripod.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Logitech Brio webcam have noted a number of disadvantages, including: Software Some say the software controls are confusing, and that the app doesn't warn you if you're connected to a port that doesn't support 4K. You also can't set or turn off the preview within the app, and you have to load the app first to change settings. Audio Some say the noise-cancelling mics don't do a great job, and that the beamforming microphones pick up a lot of room echo. Portability The Brio 505 isn't very travel-portable, unless you have a case or a good way to carry it. Camera Some say the Brio can be drowned out by backlighting, such as natural light coming in from a window behind you. Others say that tilting the camera can make it come off the base. Other Some say the Brio is expensive and lacks optical zoom. Logitech BRIO 505: review - Vesa Nopanen Jan 10, 2023 — Cons. I bought this at a Amazon Daily Deals store for 12.00. People in front of me were picking it up and putting it back down. I was sure they knew what they were doing. Turns out the protective film was still on it and looked like it had a cracked screen. Cha Ching Cracked Screen
