Advantages of the webcam:
Built-in to the monitor, no extra USB cords
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Slight disadvantage: Camera can move vertically, but not laterally. Have to move monitor to move camera. Monitor's speakers a little tinny - but probably designed primarily for voice, not other sounds.

Tough to get connectivity in a VDI environment.
