Review #176278 about “QuickCam Pro 9000”

Webcam: QuickCam Pro 9000
Rating: Excellent (5 out of 5)
Date:

Advantages of the webcam:
Video resolution is 960×720 (WVGA, not full 720p), but it features advanced Carl Zeiss optics and autofocus. This provides high-quality images with good color accuracy and detail. Uses Carl Zeiss glass lenses with autofocus, ensuring a sharp image even when changing the distance from the camera. With RightLight 2 technology, the camera adapts better to low-light conditions, adjusting brightness and contrast effectively. Features a noise-canceling microphone with superior sound quality.

Disadvantages of the webcam:
Discontinued, available only on the second-hand market.

Author’s comment:
Conclusion If image quality and autofocus are a priority, the QuickCam Pro 9000 remains the better option, especially if you can find a working unit with compatible drivers.
