Advantages of the webcam:
Small dashcam, that can also be used with a PC. Uses a USB mini-B connector for power and connection to PC. Seems to have a built-in rechargeable battery. Uses upto a 32Gb micro-SD card so should have room for plenty of recordings, depending on the user-set resolution level.

Disadvantages of the webcam:
Tiny buttons on both sides, making it difficult to access the settings and to control it in operation.
