Advantages of the webcam:
True color as you can see by naked eye out of the box without external SW adjustments, that I think it utilizes not the regular RGB payer's filter.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
no available USB 3 version. Hotness and limited ram affect bitrate and frame rate. Specification only list its 30fps limit, but the test here mention more than that!!
