Advantages of the webcam:
Small, convenient. Has a built-in "blackout" slide for when the camera is not in use.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Clamps on top of my 24" monitor but is not very secure. Is easily jarred loose.

This is my first ad-on camera. It seems to work well and has reasonable video and audio quality.
