Advantages of the webcam:
4K, works with linux, mic is good if you need one, price is pretty good.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
isn't a true 30fps - closer to 26fps but it's really hard to tell. Color is a bit grainy in lower light.

I normally use it with OBS and add a slight bit of color/saturation to make it look more 'alive'.
