It is supposed to be a 12MP cam, but I have not been able to reach it. Usually only goes to 5 MP. The framerate is only 8FPS.

I don't know what settings you use for testing, but I noticed that looking at the video on-screen from my webcam shows as it is, for example, (is it not flipped) like a basket in the background is to the left behind me, just as it is! Awesome. Some apps don't show the quality that this online tool does.
