Webcam: HP TrueVision HD Camera
Rating: Excellent (5 out of 5)

Advantages of the webcam:
Built-in in my laptop – No need for external setup. Good video quality – Supports HD (720p 1080p) resolution. Useful for online meetings and interviews – Helps in smooth communication. Works well with apps like Zoom, Google Meet, Teams Has auto light adjustment – Clear video even in low light. Easy to use, plug and play – No software installation required. Helps in taking quick pictures or recording video for presentations or notes. Integrated with microphone – Can capture both audio and video.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Low resolution – Video quality is not full HD or is grainy in low light. No autofocus – Blurry image if the position changes. Poor performance in low light – Video gets dark or unclear. No privacy shutter – Cannot manually cover the lens for privacy. Fixed angle – Cannot adjust or rotate the camera freely. No built-in microphone or poor mic quality – Needs external mic for clear audio. Lags or frame drops during online meetings. Outdated driver/software – Needs manual update to work properly.
Author’s comment:
The webcam works well for daily use such as video calls and online meetings. However, it has limited clarity in low-light conditions and lacks advanced features like autofocus or a privacy shutter. Overall, it is suitable for basic tasks.
