Advantages of the webcam:
Reasonably cheap and pretty good quality and comes with a stand. Very good option if you want a cheap webcam solution and you already have this laying about only like a 10 pound adapter.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Very dark without surrounding light as its supposed to pick up light
