Advantages of the webcam:
I just arrived today, I'm still evaluating the device.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
lack of firmware, it has generic realtech uvc chips. Picture quality as a webcam is merely passing. As a camcorder it records in much better resolution than 1920x1080. In fact it suppose to record in 8K. I'll verify this shortly.
