Webcam: Integrated Camera
Rating: Excellent (5 out of 5)

Advantages of the webcam:
Convenience – It is already built into the laptop or device, so no extra setup is required. Portability – You don’t need to carry a separate external camera, making it ideal for travel and online classes or meetings. Saves USB Ports – Since it’s internal, it doesn’t occupy any USB port. Cost-Effective – No need to buy an external webcam, which saves money. Easy to Use – Works automatically with video calling apps like Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. Compact Design – Keeps the device neat and clutter-free without extra cables. System Compatibility – Fully compatible with the device’s hardware and operating system, reducing driver issues. Good for Basic Needs – Sufficient quality for online meetings, virtual interviews, and classes. Better Power Management – Uses system power efficiently compared to some external webcams. Security Control – Many laptops offer camera privacy shutters or software-based camera access control.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Limited Video Quality – Usually lower resolution and clarity compared to external webcams. Fixed Position – Cannot be adjusted or moved for better angles. Poor Low-Light Performance – Image quality drops significantly in dim lighting. No Upgrade Option – You cannot replace or upgrade it without changing the whole device. Privacy Concerns – Risk of unauthorized access if malware activates the camera. Basic Features Only – Lacks advanced features like optical zoom, background blur hardware, or wide-angle lenses. Repair Difficulty – If the webcam fails, repairing it can be expensive or difficult. Audio-Video Sync Issues – Sometimes the built-in mic and camera may not sync well. Not Professional Grade – Not suitable for professional streaming, content creation, or high-quality recording. Dependent on Device Quality – Webcam performance depends on laptop model and build quality.
