Advantages of the webcam:
Manual Focus, good depth of field. Can do excellent close ups as near as 15mm from lens. Good definition. Undistorted picture. Angle not too wide for video conferencing. Colours seem accurate tomy eye, teal looks teal and orange looks different from red etc.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Manual focus, might not suit everyone.
