Advantages of the webcam:
The camera comes with a privacy flip cover. The resolution is better than most cameras on the laptop so far. The Logioptions+ software provides control over the camera's flicker rate and a few options to adjust color balance and sharpness.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
There are no disadvantages for this camera unless you need 4 resolution.
