Advantages of the webcam:
It was cheap, $5 on sale. It has a clamp that also works as a stand. It works easily out of the box. The material is nice and the cord is a usable length around 2 meters.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
It's not high quality and it's a little blurry. The clamp doesn't completely hold it up, it's more for a little stability in a resting position on top of something.
