Review #212060 about “HP TrueVision HD Camera”

Webcam: HP TrueVision HD Camera
Rating: Excellent (5 out of 5)
Date:

Advantages of the webcam:
Clear enough for online interviews and coding assessments. Your face is easily recognizable. Good brightness. The webcam captures enough light in your room. Natural-looking colors. Skin tones don't appear overly washed out. Stable video. There doesn't seem to be any flickering or freezing. Integrated webcam. No need to carry or install an external camera.

Disadvantages of the webcam:
Low resolution (640 × 480 VGA). This is the biggest limitation. Modern webcams typically support 720p or 1080p. Only 0.31 MP. The image lacks fine details and sharpness. 15 FPS frame rate. Motion may appear less smooth than 30 FPS webcams. Slight image softness. The picture isn't very crisp, especially when zoomed in. Mirror preview. The preview flips left and right (normal behavior, not a defect).
