Advantages of the webcam:
- Inexpensive at $30 in 2021. Pretty basic. I saw one on aBay for $12 in 2026. - Microphone is very good. I mainly use that mic for Teams audio calls now which is better than my laptop mic. - Overall, better than my laptop camera which is impractical since I have the lid closed and have dual monitors.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
- Fixed focus only. Must move it forward to get closer. - Can only adjust angle. - Not really ideal for dual monitors since I may be looking at two different monitors during calls

- A budget-friendly 1080p plug-and-play device featuring a built-in touch-controlled LED light, dual noise-canceling microphones, and 360-degree rotation. - I built my own stand that sits in between my dual monitors at an appropriate height for when I need to join Teams calls with video
