Advantages of the webcam:
resolution, max FPS
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Quite limited linux support, libcamera 0.7.3 seems to be the one carrying support, but with a magenta tint calibration. If someone uses no calibration, then it has a green tint, since this is a Bayer sensor. Even DKMs were neded for the setup on CachyOS, which shouldn't be needed on Fedora btw. Also, the image is quite dark.
