Advantages of the webcam:
It's in my computer already.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
I can't really think of any, for my purposes.

I am less testing the webcam per se, than the way it functions under FreeBSD 15.1-RELEASE-p2. The colour's no that great but I imagine there's a way to tweak it. The next step will be getting the mic and speakers to play along so I can do videoconferencing on my FreeBSD box :-)
