Advantages of the webcam:
Can be mounted easily on any monitor and has a tripod to put it on the desk. Has a built in microphone. Works on Linux without any hassle.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Quality is not that great, it's ok. There is lots of 'grain' in the image. There is no built-in light to show if the webcam is active or not!!!

It was the last one available in the shop where I buy these things, otherwise I would have gone for something else. It's a very average webcam.
