Advantages of the webcam:
Built in. Reasonable quality considering the laptop was purchased a while ago in 2012
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Sometimes the camera doesn't start when laptop is booted up. It can take a few minutes to come alive.

Your test site is very useful, as it gives information not available frm Microsoft Camera or Dell Webcam Central programs.
