Advantages of the webcam:
First it's cheap. It has flexible mount stand for easy placing on top of a monitor, plug & play no extra software needed, view angle 52°, face tracking, perfect for Skype etc. button to take pictures max to 8 megapixels, automatic white balance, clear video in any light condition.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Fixed focus, only 30 fps, resolution is low only 1280x720. no led lighting.

Overall it's good camera for casual use, it's not that special, but it do the job.
