Advantages of the webcam:
integrated in monitor, retractable inside the monitor housing, seems to be with a kind of 'hardware switch' by retracting inside the monitor-housing, because it's dissapearing at device manager :: hd-webcam with 30 fps, great picture with zoom or similiar video conferencing systems :: very easy to install -> webcam is installing from alone, for monitor i recommend to install the device driver you can get from hp-homepage :: this monitor is an recommendation for sure !! :: usage : business use (daily use with several conferences a day)
Disadvantages of the webcam:
low light makes webcam more pixelated, but good enough to see, whom you are talking with^^...
