Review #61946 about “Logi Webcam C920E”

Webcam: Logi Webcam C920E
Rating: Good (4 out of 5)
Date:

Advantages of the webcam:
Video works well right out of the box. I'm using it on a Linux box, and it looks like everything is going to be fine.

Disadvantages of the webcam:
Logitech decided that even though this cam has microphones, they are turned off before they leave the assembly line. You have to download and install their software (LogiTuneInstall) to turn them on. Logitech doesn't support Linux.

Author’s comment:
If I'd known about the microphones, I would've bought something else of a different brand name.
