Advantages of the webcam:
Cheap enough, was about 15 GPB from China when webcams were super rare due to everyone working from home.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Frame rate suffers in low light. Very noisy image. Auto focus can be problematic, however can be overridden in OBS.
Author’s comment:
For the money, it does the job. In good lighting you'd not be disappointed, however using it in anything other than daylight causes the quality to drop.
