Advantages of the webcam:
the quality rating is very good. Integrated. Great colour range.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Poor video image resolution

Although the specs indicate I should expect 30fps, it is only working at 7 fps which I assume is what is causing the poor image quality on video applications (PNG file size and bitrate also seem to be significantly lower than expected.
