Advantages of the webcam:
High resolution imaging, has microphone.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
No autofocus eventhough the website of the product says so.

Compared to my other cheap webcam Fantech Luminous C30, they have the same megapixels and resolution, but this seems to add smoothing to the image, whereas the other is sharper. It might be good or bad depending on how you see it.
