Review #8430 about “Dericam 1080P Full HDTV, Clip, W2, UK, Black”

Webcam: Dericam 1080P Full HDTV, Clip, W2, UK, Black
Rating: Average (3 out of 5)

Advantages of the webcam:
- Very cheap. - Compatible to the standard USB video class and therefore widely supported. - Mount thread, which fits onto many tripods. - 75 degree viewing angle.

Disadvantages of the webcam:
- Fixed-focus lens causes blurry corners and lens distortion (no manual focus, no auto focus). - Washed-out surfaces even in RAW mode (built-in compression cannot be disabled). - Silver lens ring reflects back when camera is placed in front of a glass pane (i.e. a window).
