Advantages of the webcam:
Better resolution than many plug in usb a cameras on the market.
Disadvantages of the webcam:
Requires add ons such as a table arm to effectively get a frame rate of 30 fps. But its 4k max resolution, so I can't complain.

Use your phone as a webcam if you don't feel like spending the money on a usb one.
